As Hungary's largest hotel with its 499 rooms the 4-star Best Western Grand Hotel Hungaria provides comfort of home and professional services for tourists, business travellers and conference participants as well.

Under the name of "Hotel Imperial" the central block of the present hotel building had served our guests from 1915 until it was modernised and reopened in 1985.

As a remembrance of the hotels' splendour, one of the function rooms now bears the former name of the hotel. The Grand Hotel Hungaria is patron of modern Hungarian art. As the majority of the works of art were meant to decorate the hotel, the artists let themselves be inspired by the atmosphere of the place. The most famous among the thirty artists are the renowned sculptors Miklós Melocco, Pál Kő and Péter Vladimir as well as Gobeline artist Zsuzsa Péreli whose tapestries are known all over the world and Attila Zsigmond, György Puiz and Barna Bardócz reputable masters of applied arts.

As it is located in the city's heart on a main street that leads to the Elizabeth Bridge, Best Western Grand Hotel Hungaria has excellent public transport connections (metro and railway stations nearby) ensuring easy access to the most important parts of the city and the countryside. It is only a few minutes' walk to the major shopping and business centres and the historic downtown that attract many tourists.
